Hi Adelaide, I see your glimmers! I missed these, I'm still working out my way around substack, sorry! How cool is it that yours, mine and many other people's glimmers are to do with nature and creatures (oh and yummy food). I had to look up a cherry ballart - what a cool plant, and how weird it is hard to germinate but that it will germinate with Themeda! I'm not aware I've ever seen one but now I am aware of it I probably will! That will be a glimmer for me too that day! xo

Seeing a cherry ballart would indeed be a GLIMMER.

Themeda - a tool to germinate plants?

You might well mistake a cherry ballart for a she-oak...

Cherry ballarts are supposed to grow in Gippsland and outside that part of the world are considered pests/invasive species.

Themeda - kangaroo grass, a native species, so something symbiotic in the germination there. Interesting to know it is considered invasive. xo
