Amen Gillian. This is a wonderful description ..."enchantment is a string of glimmers noticed regularly". My glimmer this week on the road to enchantment is 20 grapefruit growing strongly on a 4 year old tree that to this point managed only one or two. I think it finally found it's sweet spot. 🙂
Thank you Gillian. Each morning as I am walking I make my way through what I call my Alphabet of Aspirations (the Buddhist meaning not the capitalist one!). Reminding myself of how I wish to be and also what I wish to be open to. It's also a wish for all beings. Every letter has ever-increasing words except for 'x'. Words like carefreeness, ease, kindness, quiet (inside & out), trust - and now, thank you, enchantment 💫
My glimmer today was a bee landing on my spoon as I ate my breakfast on the balcony and thinking for a long time whether it wanted to try my porridge (yes, even in summer I have porridge for breakfast😅). I was happy to share but she decided actually flowers are more her thing.
Bees are always a glimmer! I love your Alphabet of Aspirations, it sounds like a lovely moving meditation. My son and I are also of the porridge for breakfast all year round tribe!
Gorgeous image, Gillian and wonderful how you have attached glimmers to enchantment . Mine today is sunshine illuminating the crocus’s in the church yard 💖
Hooray for glimmers and enchantments! The timing of your post was perfect for me. A friend called to check in with me this morning and the way she acknowledged the grief I am going through at the moment punctured a hole in the dark dome that I had covered myself in this week and allowed light to flow in. I was able to reconnect with the beauty of life and notice the enchantments that are all around me: the sunlight sparkling through the rustling leaves, a little moth that flutters by me (I secretly think this is Bill saying hello to me) and the beautiful friends who surround me with love. It was also a day of lots of tears as I attended the late 110 year old dancer, Eileen Kramer's, memorial service. A group of us danced in honour of her and I was so moved by the whole service. Lots of tears which needed to come out. A string of glimmers today. xxx
Always lovely to have good timing! Glad the light has found a way in and Bill visits gently. Wishing you a week of glimmers that become the contented hum of enchantment. xo
glimmers today: waking up to birdsong, seeing the mumma and young pademelon nestled together on my walk, the river when the tide is high and the trees are mirrored in the water
Beautiful Gillian! I woke too early this morning with a headache and a busy brain but my glimmer is my doggo snuggling in my lap as I listen to the birds morning songs.

oh I love this,
glimmers today: waking up to birdsong, seeing the mumma and young pademelon nestled together on my walk, the river when the tide is high and the trees are mirrored in the water
How lovely to see mama and bub marsupials - I don’t think I have any local pademelons, not sure what their range is? Wobblies and roos, yes!
Love how you see it all
