The first time through, I thought the kind of deconstructed tree imagery was cool, but I didn’t have context; after checking out the website, I now understand it is cloud scan technology used in the construction and forestry industry to 3D map things - in forestry to map the volume of timber that can be extracted. I'm not sure how that changes things for me, but it is that same weird nexus we keep finding ourselves on as a species - a tool is just a tool; it is up to us how we apply it. For beauty or destruction.
